For those new to esports betting, it can feel a little overwhelming at first. But the core concept isn't all that different from traditional sports betting. What matters most is knowing what you're watching and understanding how the teams you're betting on have been performing. 3star888 offers an intuitive interface and clear odds guidance so you can get started with confidence.
The first step is to pick a title you know well. If you're a die-hard MLBB fan who follows MPL Malaysia every week, start by betting on matches whose schedules you've already been tracking. Knowledge of the game meta, team head-to-head records, and star player form gives you a real edge when making smarter betting decisions.
For MLBB in particular, Malaysian teams like Todak and Geek Fam have dedicated fanbases here. Their MPL Malaysia records are publicly available for you to review before placing a bet. 3star888 also provides team statistics and recent form data within our platform to help you make more informed decisions.
Malaysia is no longer just a spectator in the world of esports — we're active participants. We have representatives on the global stage across multiple esports titles. Malaysia's MLBB teams consistently compete at MSC and M-Series level. Local CS2 players are gaining recognition internationally. And with the gaming community growing at pace, even more Malaysian talent is set to emerge in the years ahead. 3star888 wants you to be part of this journey — not just as a fan, but as someone who can truly benefit from your esports knowledge.
MPL Malaysia (Mobile Legends Professional League Malaysia) is the most popular esports league in the country. Each season, eight of Malaysia's top teams compete over several weeks for a spot at MSC and ultimately the M-Series World Championship. These matches are streamed live on YouTube and other platforms, drawing hundreds of thousands of viewers every week.
At 3star888, every MPL Malaysia match comes with a wide range of betting markets. From simply picking the winning team, to wagering on the total number of maps played, or who takes the first map — it's all available on our platform. Odds are updated in real time, and you can follow the action while placing bets at any point during the match.
The International is the world's largest esports tournament by prize pool — sometimes exceeding USD 40 million. It's also one of the most active esports betting events globally, with millions of dollars wagered worldwide each year. At 3star888, you can start betting on The International from the group stage all the way through to the Grand Final. Markets include the overall winner, individual team performance each day, and much more.
One of the most popular features among 3star888 players is in-play, or live betting. This means you can place bets while a match is in progress, not just before it starts. In DOTA 2, for example, if you notice a team dominating with a large gold lead at the 20-minute mark, you can immediately back that team — and the odds will reflect the current state of the match.
In-play betting demands quick reactions and a solid understanding of the game. But it also offers better value opportunities, since you're betting with the most up-to-date information available. 3star888 optimised our platform to ensure in-play betting is fast and seamless — even on a 4G mobile connection.
